Hello, Creatives! One of my side projects alongside running 99% Perspiration is a weekly radio programme called ArtyParti. We invite guests to chat about artistic & cultural events in the North East of the UK.
Here’s the latest;
On this week’s ArtyParti, Wednesday 13th April 2016, we brought together some of the people involved in a project highlighting child sexual exploitation with Changing Lives, the Northumbria Police, & Crime Commissioner for Northumberland, Vera Baird. The groups teamed with University of Sunderland drama & film students to make a series of films.
Our two drama students both have leading roles in an upcoming performance of King Lear, at this year’s SunFest – a whole month of theatre, a collaboration by Arts Centre Washington & the University.
Our guests:
- Rachel Otterson – 3rd year Drama student, University of Sunderland, & Goneril in King Lear
- Ross Scott – 3rd year Drama student, University of Sunderland, & King Lear in King Lear
- Glen Harris – 3rd year Digital Film Production student, University of Sunderland, & filmmaker with Flat 14 Productions
- Adelle Hulsmeier – Senior Lecturer, Drama & Performing Arts, University of Sunderland
- Michelle Sheridan – PVP Manager (Protecting Vulnerable People), Northumbria Police
